As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and delightful learning experiences that make a tangible difference in the lives of real kids and teachers.


This role presents an exceptional opportunity to build from scratch, establishing the foundation for our design culture and shaping the product itself. You will own the design of web and mobile features, driving user-centric solutions that scale across our vast reach.


We are seeking a seasoned designer with a strong portfolio showcasing user-first thinking and design systems expertise. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, and learning experts is crucial to success.


About the Role
  • Your primary focus will be on designing end-to-end user experiences that meet the diverse needs of our users, ensuring seamless interactions and usability.
  • You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and drive their implementation.
  • In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape our design system, defining components and patterns that align with our brand vision.
  • Regularly, you will conduct user interviews, gather insights, and translate them into actionable design decisions that inform our product direction.

The Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product design, preferably in edtech or related fields.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to design user-centered solutions, working within design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions and advocate for accessibility and usability.
  • Familiarity with Figma, component libraries, and design systems is highly desirable.
