Radiographer Position in Diagnostic Imaging

This position requires a skilled Radiographer to perform various diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by clinicians, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
- Maintain relevant equipment, making minor adjustments as required, and reporting any faults or breakdowns to the supervisor.
- Perform daily quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Provide preparatory information to patients before and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including radiation safety protocols.
- An Intermediate degree in Science or equivalent, preferably with a background in Radiography.
- At least two years of experience as a Radiographer or completion of a recognized traineeship program.
- Strong knowledge of film quality assessment, patient positioning, film development, and general record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
- A working knowledge of diagnostic procedures and equipment operation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts.
