Job Title: Infrastructure Planning Professional

About the Role:

This is a challenging position that involves designing and planning data center infrastructure components such as HVAC units, power systems, fire suppression systems, DCIM, switchgear, HT & LT panels, etc. The successful candidate will have expertise in RFP design including technical specifications, BOQ, SLA, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and plan data center infrastructure components using AutoCAD
  • Complete infrastructure node planning for nationwide core locations and data centers
  • Track and manage projects related to HVAC systems, power systems (DC/AC), standby generators, HT/LT switchgear, transformers, battery banks, fire suppression systems, DCIM systems, etc.
  • Prepare RFPs and evaluate products related to infrastructure components
  • Perform periodic analysis of data center site utilization, HVAC capacity, and power capacity to ensure necessary expansions are proposed and carried out
  • Coordinate with other departments and vendors for timely implementation of infrastructure works/projects
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications/Electrical from a reputable institution
  • Additional qualification of Master's degree and data center certifications like CDCS, CTDC, CTIA would be an added advantage

Work Experience:

  • At least 6+ years of work experience with 3+ years of infrastructure component design experience in data centers is required
