Accounting Expert Job Description

This role involves supporting the accounting team in managing our clients' financial activities. The Accounting Executive will perform various tasks, assist in drafting financial reports, and support team members in creating financial models.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing daily accounting, bookkeeping, periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Performing assigned accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.
  • Drafting financial reports, including annual statements.
  • Supporting team members in creating financial models, cash flow projections, and profitability forecasts.
  • Compiling and analyzing financial data.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for improving accounting processes and procedures.
  • Assisting project managers/team leads in financial system transitions or upgrades.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as directed by the team lead and management to support the overall objectives of the accounting department.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Chartered Accountant / ACCA (Qualified/Finalist), or equivalent, with 2+ years of relevant experience (preferably international).
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online; bonus points for experience with Sage300, Xero, or Wave.
  • Expertise in financial management, GAAP, and long-term planning.
  • Proven leadership with excellent English communication and analytical skills.
  • Track record of implementing advanced accounting software and leading change.
  • Client-focused with strong team management and project coordination abilities.
  • Minimum Commitment: 3 years
