Senior System Administrator Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert to oversee the technical aspects of our operations, ensuring seamless performance and efficient issue resolution.

This critical position requires an individual with extensive experience in managing complex IT systems, including IBM i infrastructure, AS400 operating system, and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality technical support within agreed service levels.
  • Administer and troubleshoot AS400 Operating System.
  • Utilize knowledge of CL Programming, HMC & TCP/IP, Power HA, Connect:DIRECT, OnDemand Report Archiving tool, iDoctor & PowerLock, iASP, iCluster, WAS and MQ applications.
  • Collaborate with application teams, other infrastructure teams, and vendors for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 36 to 60 months of experience in IBM i IT Infrastructure.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400 Operating System administration.
  • Familiarity with Ops Navigator, BRMS, and standard change, incident, and problem management processes.
  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders, including application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
