About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled International Development Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all construction activities in the Country Office, including school infrastructures and health centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of annual construction work plans
  • Collaboration with UNICEF Programmes/Operations and coordination with Government counterparts
  • Preparation of design and technical documents
  • Support to procurement process
  • Monitoring of construction projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An advanced university degree (master's or above) or equivalent in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture, or other relevant technical area
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in project management, site supervision, quality assurance, and/or other directly-related technical fields
  • Understanding of development and humanitarian work
  • Technical knowledge and experience in projects related to solarization
