Senior Measurement Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Measurement Expert to manage the operation, maintenance, and commissioning of measurement equipment at transmission lines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement of gas volume and managing installation, repair, and maintenance of transmission measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Operation, Maintenance, and Commissioning: Oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas transmission measuring equipment operated by the team.
  • Plan and Schedule Tasks: Manage proactive planning and scheduling to effectively utilize manpower and complete measurement tasks within established time schedules.
  • Calibration Management: Ensure effective calibration of Point of Delivery and Sales Meter Station carried out by the team.
  • Performance Indicators: Develop, implement, and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, ensuring team members meet their KPIs according to the overall plan.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Manage the efficient operation and maintenance of check meter and gas quality monitoring equipment operated by the team.
  • Verification and Calibration: Manage routine verification and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters installed throughout our territory, carried out by the team.
  • Problem Solving: Conduct root cause analysis, determine and document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve those issues.
  • Field Activities: Manage and coordinate field activities related to installation, startup, and operation of new equipment throughout our transmission network.
  • Gas Management: Ensure accurate gas management through precise measurement and pressures based on demand-supply analysis.
  • Additional Tasks: Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Petroleum / Chemical).
  • Experience: At least 9 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in Oil & Gas/Public Sector shall be preferred.
