Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic supply chain framework comprising policies, procedures, and supporting documentation for all sub-domains of the supply chain department.
  • Implement timely and cost-effective inventory control measures ensuring minimal waste and optimal resource utilization.
  • Establish rigorous vendor selection criteria to procure goods from suppliers meeting the organization's standards.
  • Optimize inventory levels through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with top management in forecasting and production planning, assigning targets to relevant teams.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure on-time delivery of goods for further processing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and export departments to deliver finished goods order-wise.
  • Ensure 100% Quality Assurance by overseeing QA staff.
  • Facilitate regular internal meetings with divisional Incharges in the Supply Chain department.
  • Manage staff issues in the Supply Chain Department as a line manager.
  • Perform quarterly performance appraisals of immediate staff with HR Department support.

Job Specification

Qualification: BBA / MBA (majors in Supply Chain) or any Master Level Degree in Supply Chain with relevant certifications.

Experience: 5 to 6 Years in supply chain management.

Skills: Analytical & Managerial, ability to interface with all levels of internal management and supplier management, strong analytical abilities, ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources related to planning and scheduling, strong presentation and organizational skills.

Location: Management Consulting - Lahore, Pakistan.
