Project Planner

As a project planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop detailed project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activity lists, durations, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to create comprehensive project schedules that align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate resource allocation for labor, equipment, and materials based on project requirements and schedule constraints.
  • Identify critical path activities and milestones to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Continuously review and update project schedules to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules, tracking actual vs. planned progress and identifying deviations or variances.
  • Assess the impact of changes to project scope, schedule, or resources, and communicate revisions to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication among project teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding schedule updates, changes, and progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a project planner or in related roles within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of success in planning, scheduling, or project management roles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project schedules and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate clear and timely communication among project teams.
