The Position

You will be the primary point of contact for all billing-related inquiries. Your responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the billing status of accounts by researching and resolving inconsistencies and errors in billing.
  • Analyzing billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring any missing or corrected data when necessary.
  • Creating and customizing invoices as needed.
  • Reviewing and validating credits and refunds, issuing refunds, and addressing payment disputes and chargebacks.
  • Evaluating the billing process and recommending improvements where applicable.
  • Ensuring proper cutoff periods for month-end closing procedures.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for billing-related support cases.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports.
  • Supporting vendor operations and addressing related concerns.
  • Assisting with issues related to enterprise billing and preparing customized billing according to requirements.
  • Generating reports based on specified needs.
  • Collaborating closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a billing or billing-related role.
  • Independent self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguous situations, solve problems, and think on your feet.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Zuora is a plus.
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com is a plus.
