Quality Assurance Officer Job DescriptionThe position of Quality Assurance Officer involves leading and coordinating the implementation of quality systems across departments. This includes conducting regular audits, monitoring tasks, managing databases, and maintaining up-to-date information.Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Implementing Quality Management Systems: The candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system for clinical and non-clinical departments. This includes creating checklists, conducting regular audits, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: The Quality Assurance Officer will collaborate with department heads, assistant managers, and deputy managers to plan and prioritize departmental tasks. They will also communicate effectively with staff at all levels to ensure seamless operations.
  • Data Management: The candidate will manage and maintain databases for the quality system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information. They will also assign and monitor tasks for QA officers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: A medical degree (MBBS), pharmacy degree (Pharm-D), or bachelor's degree in biochemistry or microbiology, along with an MBA or MPA, is preferred. A minimum of 5-6 years' experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
