About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Government Sector Sales Lead to join our team and drive sales growth in the government sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to increase government organization sales and win key tenders.
  • Tender Management: Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive tenders to government agencies.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor government procurement trends, policies, and regulations to stay ahead of emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
  • New Business Identification: Identify new business opportunities within the government sector.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, progress reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tender submissions are accurate and deliverable.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on government or public sector clients.
