About this role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Faisalabad plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing manufacturing operations to meet volume, quality, and cost goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with IMS/GMP requirements.
  • Maintaining mechanical equipment, including pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID/FD fans, and compressors.
  • Designing mechanical systems and implementing maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing, and condition monitoring.
  • Managing maintenance activities, including creating and implementing PM/CM schedules and introducing smart maintenance techniques/tools.
  • Coordinating project execution activities, including sharing new quality ideas, preparing feasibility reports, and ensuring safe execution of capex/MOC projects within stipulated time frames.
  • Implementing EHS standards and ensuring a safe working environment for subordinates.
  • Identifying cost reduction opportunities and recommending new equipment, methods, and procedures to reduce labor expenses.
  • Developing people through communication, building relationships with stakeholders, and encouraging self-motivation and commitment to jobs.
  • Complying with electrical-related legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-7 years' experience in petrochemical/fertilizer/process/food industries.
  • English fluency (written and spoken).
