Compliance Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team. This role offers significant exposure to UK AML regulations, credit control workflows, and cross-border collaboration with our compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies as per UK regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct client due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and ongoing relationship monitoring.
  • Maintain and manage engagement letter records in line with industry best practices.
  • Track and update sector-specific compliance checklists and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all documentation meets firm-wide compliance standards.
  • Manage credit control processes: monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and generate reports.
  • Support internal audits and assist in preparation for external regulatory reviews.
  • Stay informed on compliance-related updates and UK regulatory developments.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in compliance, AML, or regulatory support (UK exposure preferred).
  • Understanding of AML frameworks and UK accountancy firm obligations (ICAEW, ACCA, HMRC).
  • Familiarity with document management and client onboarding systems.
  • Knowledge of credit control workflows and receivables reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • ACCA qualified/finalist or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are a plus.
