Accounting Professional - FP&A Team

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our client's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's financials, including budget planning, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to extract non-compensated data from the general ledger, organize it into groupings aligned with budget planning, and present it in a format facilitating analysis and reporting.
  • Identify planned and unplanned expenditures, work with the FP&A team to update projected spending and future resource needs, and reconcile actuals from the detailed accounting file to budget figures and mapping.
  • Develop skills to extract non-comp data, compare it to the budget, and identify unexpected/unplanned items, apply analytics to data for review and expansion by analysts, and expand responsibilities to include KPIs and other systems.

The selected candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting and budgeting, heavy balance sheet experience, and solid ability to analyze GL information and subsequent cost analysis. They will also have GAAP vs IFRS capability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office software.
