Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management: Handle all aspects of motor vehicle accident cases from client sign-up to settlement.
  • Client Guidance: Provide clients with guidance and support throughout the case process.
  • Legal Research: Conduct discovery, perform legal research, and pre-suit discovery.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies and lien holders to secure optimal settlements.
  • Team Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Expert Interaction: Engage with expert witnesses and obtain reports and affidavits.
  • Litigation Preparation: Draft pleadings, write briefs, and assist with discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

  • An active member in good standing with the Wisconsin Bar
  • A license to practice law in Minnesota is preferred but not required
  • Ideally 2+ years of litigation experience (motor vehicle/automobile liability preferred)
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases
  • Excellent client service skills focused on compassion
