Responsibilities:
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
  • Implementing and maintaining DevOps and QA processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of our software products
  • Developing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI
  • Making sure that security controls are implemented and maintained, and that compliance requirements are met
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
Requirements:
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Excellent understanding of security concepts and best practices
  • Experience with security assessment and testing tools
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Deploying updates and fixes
  • Providing Level 2 technical support
  • Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Performing root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues
  • Developing scripts to automate visualization
  • Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
