Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our dynamic project accounting team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the execution and performance of accounting and reporting activities, including:

  1. Driving the project accounting month end close processes, including preparation and review of all journal entries, schedule reconciliations, TB reviews, on a monthly basis.
  2. Preparing quarterly reporting packages, including financials, DSCR, distributions, operating reports, and other reporting requirements as necessary, on a quarterly basis.
  3. Working closely with the treasury operations team to provide timely weekly reviews of subcash and monthly reviews of bank reconciliations.
  4. Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP.
  5. Preparing and maintaining various schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosures.
  6. Collaborating with various business units to gather information and build a strong understanding of the company's operations to ensure accurate disclosures in the Company's financial statements.
  7. Implementing new accounting standards and processes related to the ERP system.
  8. Providing suggestions and support for process improvements/efficiencies.
  9. Assisting with requests from external auditors to provide necessary documentation and information for audits.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, and have a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. They should also have intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
