Facilities Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Operations Manager to lead our facilities team in maintaining top-tier workspaces and delivering exceptional support services.

The ideal candidate will oversee all day-to-day facilities operations, including cleanliness, utilities, repairs, and upkeep. They will ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all infrastructure and office assets, conduct regular inspections, and respond swiftly to facility-related complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily facilities operations, ensuring seamless support services across company offices.
  • Lead and train a team of support staff, creating SOPs, evaluation systems, and training modules to maintain world-class facility standards.
  • Oversee daily operations of in-house café/pantry services, ensuring café staff are trained in proper hygiene, food handling, and customer service.
  • Procure and manage facility-related items, maintain inventory levels, and audit stock to prevent overstocking or wastage.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly/monthly facility reports, issue logs, cost summaries, and improvement plans for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Hospitality / Facility Management (Master's preferred).
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or corporate sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale facility operations across multiple locations.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle pressure and tight timelines.
  • Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with facility management tools/software is a plus.
  • Well-versed in modern facility management practices, workplace hygiene, and sustainability norms.
  • Ability to work closely with leadership, respond to feedback positively, and adapt rapidly.
