Job Description

Hul Hub is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to internal customers, ensuring seamless operation of all IT-related systems and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-level support for IT-related issues, utilizing a combination of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Utilize the JIRA-based ticketing system to track and manage service requests, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely closure of tickets.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers by proactively following up on their service needs, guaranteeing that all issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Promote transparency and accountability within the organization by providing regular feedback to customers and management on issue resolution and SLA adherence.
  • Monitor production systems diligently, identifying potential issues before they escalate into major problems and resolving them promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate situations critically, escalating complex issues to management and vendors as necessary, adhering to established guidelines and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a solid foundation in computer systems, networking, and software development.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in network support, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
