Job Overview

  • A highly skilled professional with excellent team collaboration skills is required to understand the project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and approaches for products across various platforms.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and cases for functional, manual, and web-based applications.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring timely closure of issues.
  • Participate in collaborative calls with customers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Refactor existing frameworks as needed to meet project requirements.
  • Execute and analyze performance tests such as baseline, load, capacity, stress, volume, endurance, and other non-functional tests.
  • Analyze application logs to determine system behavior.
  • Provide technical assistance to enhance system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
  • Monitor CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection, and database parameters to verify application performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong reasoning and analytical skills to comprehend QA processes and execution.
  • Possess a minimum 5+ years of experience in Performance Test Engineering.
  • Expertise in test planning, estimation, strategy, workload design, and test case design.
  • Familiarity with test environment setup, test data setup, defect management, and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in performance testing using JMeter, NeoLoad, and LoadRunner tools.
  • Knowledge of Java and Beanshell scripting in JMeter is desirable.
  • Experience with APM tools like NewRelic and log aggregation tools like Splunk.
  • Thorough understanding of web, desktop, mobile, and APIs-based applications and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test management software, source control systems, and build management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and MySQL queries.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
