Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Consultant to join our team in Financial And Risk Advisory. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk management, compliance, and policy development.

The role involves developing organizational and development-level risk registers, assisting the Chief Risk Officer in creating mitigation strategies, and conducting regular monitoring of implementation control recommendations.

A key aspect of this position is the ability to monitor key risk indicators on a regular basis, including reviewing internal dashboards and industry data. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting trend analysis of risk indicators to identify anomalies and unusual patterns, and developing heat maps.

As an Associate Consultant, you will also provide technical advice and guidance to the business on risk management policies, procedures, and technology tools. Strong project management skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, are essential for this role.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate must have good leadership and collaboration skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as open-mindedness towards field travel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • MBA, ACCA, ICMA, or CA Finalist degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, preferably within a financial institution or professional services firm
  • Exposure to process and controls review
  • Capability to formulate compliance policies, procedures, and related documents
  • Strong project management skills in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Good leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Open to field travel
