Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

The role of the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant is to support the implementation of the monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning work plan and contribute to achieving and improving the quality of the program/project. The assistant will follow-up progress and collect data on the effectiveness of planned interventions by collecting and supporting with the data analysis.

The monitoring and evaluation system is used to gather qualitative and quantitative data at different levels. This includes using data collection tools to gather information and implementing field level activities according to the monitoring and evaluation work plan.

Data quality management is an essential part of this role, including conducting routine data quality audits and ensuring that data is accurate and reliable. Additionally, the assistant will support in the implementation of gender analyses and gender assessments as required, including data collection and data analysis.

The job requires a strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation concepts and the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement. Strong computer skills are also necessary, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
