Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring that project planning functions are effectively implemented on all projects to meet project objectives.

  • Execute the project planning function to ensure appropriate planning of all projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with project timelines.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project managers to ensure smooth project execution, including monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure effective planning and execution of jobs, including identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Participate in project handover meetings to plan and implement project planning functions from the onset of projects, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Regularly review and update project schedules to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and management, including locking in required hours and resources in the system.
  • Monitor project progress regularly, collaborating with project managers to address any issues or concerns that may impact project timelines.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to project managers as per client requirements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop standardized modules for use in project schedules, ensuring consistency and clarity in project planning and execution.
  • Support portfolio planners by providing required data and reports, facilitating informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics) from a reputable university, with 4-6 years of experience in project planning functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
