Health Management Position OverviewJob Description:

The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of health programs in their country of assignment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop a comprehensive health sector strategy for health programs in the country.
    • Conduct needs assessments at current and potential areas and incorporate field inputs into health project design.
  • Program Management:
    • Ensure timely delivery of programmatic needs in accordance with work plans and procurement plans.
    • Maintain up-to-date program management tools with the assistance of the senior management team.
  • Representation and Coordination:
    • Represent and participate in health coordination meetings and other relevant meetings at the field level.
    • Closely collaborate with senior management in updating and coordinating health activities.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Evaluate contracts and payments for services in coordination with logistics, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Organize daily work schedules for the country team and assign tasks according to priorities.
    • Lead and oversee country health teams.
  • Technical Support and Capacity Building:
    • Work with country teams to develop technical protocols and guidelines as needed.
    • Support personal and professional development through regular attendance at learning opportunities.
