Job Title: Software Development Professional

Job Summary:

A software development professional at our company is responsible for designing and implementing server applications, writing RESTful APIs, and ensuring the functionality, security, and performance of these applications. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth through training and knowledge sharing.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks to ensure timely completion and meet customer needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and unit tests, collaborate with other team members, and optimize code for enhanced security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by resolving existing issues, updating issue tracking software, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, manage code versions, research new technologies, and lead a team of software engineers.
  • Mentor team members through guidance and training, enhance their skills and knowledge, and evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the professional industry with strong communication, JavaScript proficiency, NodeJS knowledge, and experience with backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards, relational and schemaless databases, and collaboration tools like GitHub and JIRA.
  • Flexible attitude, versatile personality, strong presentation skills, and influence among team members.
