We are seeking a skilled Web Scraping Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our data engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust web scraping systems using tools like Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, or BeautifulSoup.
  • Build and manage large-scale scraping pipelines with scheduling, logging, and error handling.
  • Optimize scrapers for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Clean, parse, and structure raw data into usable formats (JSON, CSV, or databases).
  • Ensure compliance with websites' terms of service and best practices for ethical scraping.

You will work closely with data analysts, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Our ideal candidate has a strong proficiency in Python and scraping libraries/frameworks, knowledge of proxies, user-agents, and rotating IPs, and familiarity with regular expressions, XPath, and CSS selectors for data parsing.

Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in web scraping and data extraction.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and scraping libraries/frameworks.

  • Exposure to job scheduling tools like Airflow, Celery, or Cron.
