About the Opportunity

We're seeking a driven and curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our outbound team for a leading logistics technology platform. This role focuses on top-of-funnel outreach to SMB and Mid-Market carriers, including large fleets across North America.

You'll work closely with Account Executives and RevOps teams to build pipeline, drive conversations, and refine outbound strategies targeting one of the most operationally complex sectors in the world—freight and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify logistics and transportation leads through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Engage directly with carriers and fleet owners, especially in the SMB and Mid-Market segment.
  • Craft tailored outbound messaging that speaks to fleet-specific pain points.
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and report prospect feedback to improve GTM motions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to fine-tune ICPs, scripts, and outreach sequences.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of SDR or BDR experience in vertical SaaS, preferably within logistics or transportation tech.
  • Experience selling to carriers or fleet operators, especially in the North American market.
  • Strong written communication skills — clear, punchy cold email writing is a must.
  • Knowledge of tools like Hubspot, CRMs, Instantly, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and performance-oriented.

Bonus Points

  • Exposure to GTM teams in early-stage tech environments.
  • Understanding of fleet management systems, telematics, or freight visibility software.
  • Confidence in speaking to dispatchers, terminal managers, and VP Ops personas.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to own outbound in a fast-moving vertical.
