Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team in a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, handling accounts payable and receivable, and managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy. A passion to learn and grow is essential for this role, as well as the ability to streamline functions and improve processes.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in an accounting or finance field and hold a relevant degree such as B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc in Finance/Accounting. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification is desirable but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable with attention to detail
  • Manage profit and loss statements and balance sheets to ensure financial stability
  • Maintain company ledgers with up-to-date information
  • Process invoices by recording and approving or denying payments
  • Complete tax forms accurately and on time
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
  • Reconcile entries into the accounting system to ensure accuracy
  • Record debits and credits accurately
  • Perform account reconciliation to assess the accuracy of transactions
  • Monitor variances from projected budget to ensure financial health
