Job Title: Software Configuration Manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Configuration Manager to join our team. This is a senior-level role that requires strong technical and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration of software systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve configuration-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement configuration management policies and procedures.
  • Manage the configuration of software systems, including identification, control, and validation of software build contents.
  • Coordinate access to shared test environments and track changes to configuration settings.
  • Provide training and support to development teams on configuration management best practices.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and configuration management.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and configuration management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL or CCM.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as TFS or Jira.
