IT Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology systems and infrastructure within our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of IT services, managing a team of IT professionals, and partnering with leadership to align technology solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Daily Operations: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop IT Policies: Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage IT Projects: Manage IT projects including software upgrades, hardware installations, and system integrations to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure Data Security: Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place to protect sensitive information.
  • SUPVISE AND MENTOR TEAM: Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing training and performance evaluations to promote growth and development.
  • Coordinate Vendors: Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and support to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain System Performance: Maintain and monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the IT budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, HIPAA) to mitigate risks.
  • Tech Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Requirements:
    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT operations, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
    • Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software. Experience in managing IT infrastructure and support services.
    • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
    • Cybersecurity: Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Enterprise Experience: Background in both enterprise and SMB IT environments.
