About the Role

We are looking for an
energetic and motivated QA Automation Engineer
with
0–1 year of experience
to join our team in Karachi. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior QA professionals eager to grow their career in automation testing. You will work with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while gaining valuable hands-on experience in automation frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web/mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Log and track defects, ensuring proper resolution with the development team.
  • Contribute to sprint activities including stand-ups, planning, and QA reviews.
  • Stay updated with modern automation practices and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in QA/Automation Testing (internship or academic project experience acceptable).
  • Familiarity with automation concepts and programming (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning automation.

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Exposure to Appium or mobile automation (not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
