Your Role

As a Night Shift Accountant, you will handle financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations to ensure our operations remain fully compliant and financially sound. This position offers hands-on responsibility, long-term stability, and exposure to end-to-end accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to standard accounting principles.
  • Tax Compliance: File income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns. Liaise with FBR and local authorities to ensure compliance with Pakistani tax laws.
  • Bank & Petty Cash Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations, validate entries, and maintain error-free financial records.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on Karachi & national tax regulations to ensure timely submission and reporting accuracy.
  • Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits with organized documentation and responsive coordination.
  • Financial Accuracy: Monitor daily transactions, verify ledgers, and ensure accounting software data integrity.

Must-Have Qualifications

Your application will be considered only if you meet these minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or ACCA/ICMA/CA (Part Qualified).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of FBR, Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Local Body Tax procedures.
  • Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation and petty cash management.
  • Solid command of MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP systems).
  • Available for on-site night shift: Monday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

Preferred Qualifications

Not required, but candidates with the following have an advantage:

  • Prior experience in a BPO or finance outsourcing firm.
  • Familiarity with audit documentation and reporting formats.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Pakistan Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Excel analytics or dashboarding.
