  • Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporate clients.
  • Support senior tax professionals in conducting tax research, analyzing tax regulations, and identifying compliance and optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare tax work papers, schedules, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal policies and international reporting standards.
  • Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations.
  • Stay updated with current international and U.S. tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
  • Communicate with clients and regulatory authorities to gather information and resolve tax-related inquiries.
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation and assist during internal and external tax audits or reviews.
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of all tax filings and payments.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient tax reporting processes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to strengthen international taxation knowledge and technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or a related field (fresh graduates with internship experience may apply).
  • International taxation experience is mandatory (U.S. tax exposure highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. or international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH, Drake, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work night shifts to support international clients.
