Job Description – Finance Executive

Experience Required: 1–2 years in Finance

Qualification: Bachelors in Finance /ACCA (part-qualified or finalist)

Job Summary

Obsidian Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support our financial operations, particularly those associated with government-funded projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accounting software, strong analytical skills, and a solid foundation in finance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

·      Manage day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, expense tracking, and reconciliations.

·      Handle financial documentation and reporting for government projects, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

·      Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

·      Maintain accounts in QuickBooks and other finance software as required.

·      Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

·      Ensure accurate data entry and financial record-keeping.

·      Use Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, reporting, and data management.

·      Support internal audits and external audit processes.

·      Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·      1–2 years of experience in a finance role.

·      ACCA background (part-qualified or finalist preferred).

·      Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

·      Proficiency in QuickBooks, finance tools, and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).

·      Previous experience with government projects is a plus.

·      Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·      Strong communication and documentation abilities.

·      Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
