Role Description

The DOT Safety/Compliance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards. The role involves overseeing safety programs, conducting accident investigations, implementing training initiatives, and ensuring adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to uphold a culture of safety and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Safety Compliance standards, including DOT regulations.
  • Experience in Training and implementing safety programs to maintain compliance and promote best practices.
  • Skills in Accident Investigation and reporting to analyze and address incidents effectively.
  • Familiarity with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
