PMD is looking for a Trainee in the Technology & Information department

to perform operational tasks related to all PMD services and coordinate with the CMOs' MNP Teams for the resolution of MNP and other services related operational issues and disputes amongst CMOs.

Education:

  • 16+ Years of Education. Bachelors/ master's in information technology/computer science or equivalent.

Desired Experience:

  • Fresh graduate/postgraduate.

Essential Skills:

  • Good knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Closely follow daily/weekly/monthly routine tasks and submit the task reports to the Supervisor.
  2. Provide accurate and timely corrective measures to CMO's in order to resolve complaints.
  3. Carry out appropriate investigation of the reported issues in accordance with MNP Porting Process Guidelines and resolve any conflict amongst the CMOs.
  4. Keep track of Rejections and Timer Violations by the CMOs and duly notify the concerned parties to carry out corrective measures in order to keep the Rejections and Timer violations within the allowed KPIs.
  5. Follow pre-defined escalation matrix for issues not resolved by the Service Operations team.
  6. Check NPC/NPGw message exchange logs throughout business hours and in case of any inconsistency escalate issue to relevant person timely.
  7. Closely monitor the Availability and Performance KPIs for all PMD Services and report any degradation in the normal behavior or thresholds being reached/exceeded.
  8. Manage NPC Numbering Plan, keep record of CMOs numbering series reported missing at NPC and escalate the issue to the concerned operator for confirmation in order to have the missing Numbering series populated at the NPC.
  9. Provide effective support for the timely availability of MNP Monthly Reports to CMO's and PTA.
  10. Facilitate CMOs/Clients, internal teams and PMD's management by providing statistical reports, transactional data and any other on demand report for all PMD services.
  11. Generate & Facilitate CMO's with Port in Progress report twice daily.
  12. Log and maintain record of reported issues.
  13. Log and maintain record of corporate porting amongst the CMOs and timely resolve disputes among CMOs.
  14. Efficiently coordinate with the internal technical team in order to facilitate CMOs/Clients for the resolution of any issue in PMD Services.
  15. Investigate and assist technical team in resolution of issues reported or observed for all PMD Services.
  16. Carry out periodic testing of PMD Services.
  17. Perform UAT of service as and when required.
  18. Perform Quarterly Call Testing for Ported Numbers.
  19. Suggest changes in Service Operations SOP's as and when required.
  20. Keep abreast of the Technical and Operational aspects of PMD services and technology infrastructure so as to keep up to at least the minimum required skill set level as defined by the Management and continue improving upon these skills.
