Position Summary

Japan Electronics is looking for an experienced
IT Support Specialist
to design, implement, maintain, and support the company's IT and network infrastructure across all branches and project sites. This role ensures
high availability, data security, and operational efficiency
of IT systems to support both day-to-day operations and long-term organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain
    LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls
    , and related IT infrastructure, including ERP system integration.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Configure and manage
    firewalls, routers, switches, and access points
    in line with IT security standards.
  • Ensure
    data protection
    through backup management, disaster recovery planning, and compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
  • Provide
    Tier-2/3 technical support
    for internal network and system-related concerns.
  • Maintain and update
    network diagrams, documentation, and IT asset records
    .
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues and improve network performance.
  • Assist in
    IT projects
    such as new site rollouts, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain
    cybersecurity best practices
    across the organization.
  • Guide and mentor junior IT staff in troubleshooting, configuration, and network management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Information Technology, Computer Science
    , or a related field.
  • 3–5 years
    of proven experience as an
    IT Support Specialist
    ,
    Network Technician
    , or similar IT role.
  • Strong working knowledge of
    LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet
    , or similar network devices.
  • Proficiency in
    firewall setup, cybersecurity
    , and
    network troubleshooting
    .
  • Familiarity with
    server environments (Windows/Linux)
    and
    cloud platforms
    is a plus.
  • Strong
    problem-solving and analytical
    abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent
    communication, reporting
    , and
    documentation
    skills.
