Job Purpose

• Supporting manager in Network planning of CMPAK IP Core and IGW & EGW networks in terms of new entities deployment, topology, capacity & services.

Job Responsibilities

• Network planning of CMPAK IP Core and Internet Gateway (IGW) networks in terms of new entities deployment, topology, capacity & services
• Solution Designing & issuance of RFQ's/RFP's for all the new/expansion projects related to IP Core & IGW networks
• Completing the bidding process for the equipment including pre-bidding, Technical evaluation and post-bidding analysis
• RFP/SOC preparation for IP Core & IGW networks as per the industry standards
• Assisting management in budget planning for IP Core & IGW networks as per the traffic & service forecasting
• Assisting the Core TXN & Access TXN teams for end to end planning of Transmission network from new solutions, expansion of existing services capacity, licenses and evolution of Transmission network
• Ensuring the industry standards & best practices in end to end transport network
• Follow-up the projects till closing & post evaluation of projects
• Translate the internal departments (NSS/BSS/VAS/ESS/IT etc.) requirements into technical design and ensure the implementation of the same timely.
• Development and issuance of IP/Port plan for any new service or expansion for user departments' entities integration
• Capacity assurance of IP Core & IGW networks from expansion/rollout perspective
• Inventory management of IP Core/IGW equipment
• Ensuring the network security of IP Core/IGW networks
• Ensuring the best possible protection and redundancy at each layer of network elements
• Vendor management during projects execution, follow up and closure
• Internet bandwidth capacity leasing, management of ISPs, invoice processing, contract management in terms of capacities and coordination with O&M & ISPs for rebates reconciliation and credit notes
• Monitoring of link capacities, timely expansion of IP Core & IGW internal capacities, internet interconnect capacities with ISPs and bandwidth forecasting & equipment ordering as per requirements of expansions, new rollout and user department requests
• Account management of regional internet registry, internet resources (Public IP/ASN) management, resource acquisition approvals, complaint handling, invoice processing and issues handling of public IPs related issues
• Timely reporting of projects progress, links utilization and preparation of reports/presentations as per management directive
• IP/VLAN planning for 2G/3G/4G sites in coordination with regional TXN teams· Maintaining the database for IP/Port plans, projects documentation and annexes

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills): Education:

• Minimum Bachelors' Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering from HEC Recognized Institute Masters' Degree will be preferred
• Certifications: CCNP/HCNP along with design experience.

Work Experience

• Should have minimum 3-4 years of experience in IP/MPLS Core & IGW/EGW in IP Network with Troubleshooting and planning.

• Familiar with the Fiber transmission technologies Routing, Switching, DCN planning, Ethernet, Configurations, Datacom NMS Working knowledge of Cache & CDN servers, DNS servers & AAA servers
