IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible to Manage Network Security & Datacenter Operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in network security, along with the ability to take initiatives for enhancing Network Security posture of IP Core & Edge Network domain, ensure compliance of internal policies & procedures, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This role also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and align security measures with business objectives.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain multi-vendor security infrastructure, including firewalls (Juniper, Cisco, Huawei) and data center switches (Juniper, Huawei). Troubleshoot and manage data center connectivity, firewall policies, and VPN technologies (IP/MPLS, BGP, VPLS, L2/L3 VPNs).
  • Evaluate and enhance security controls by collaborating with NIS/SOC teams, implementing recommendations to strengthen IP operations. Develop and update SOPs for network security operations, ensuring adherence to Access Control, Change Management, and Network Security Policies.
  • Manage change requests, maintenance windows, and vendor/3rd-party engagements to minimize operational disruptions. Oversee PMR activities, DR drills, and HA testing to ensure high availability and resilience of IP security infrastructure.
  • Mentor and upskill the security team through knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering expertise in emerging threats and technologies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

  • Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT.

Experience:

  • Expertise in Multi-vendor Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper & Huawei), Routing & Switching Protocols, Expert in three tier datacenter topology & demonstrated ability to work independently.

Technical Competency:

  • Expert in Network Security Protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec, GRE, TACACS, Radius)
  • Expert in Routing/Switching Protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, VLANs)
  • Demonstrated leadership, effective teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
