We are hiring a
Head of B2B Business Development
for a strategic partner-track role at Mint Rewards. This individual will lead commercial growth in the B2B waste and recycling sector, managing client relationships, strategic sales, and material sourcing from corporates and institutions. This role is designed for a commercially-driven professional who seeks long-term leadership opportunity as
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
or
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
, with aligned commitment through skin-in-the-game investment and performance-based equity.
This is not a salaried job in the traditional sense — this is a
build-together
role with compensation heavily linked to performance, strategic value, and a clear path to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead B2B waste solutions strategy focused on securing commercial and industrial waste contracts, particularly in key Pakistani sectors such as textiles, manufacturing, food processing, construction, military establishments, and government-linked institutions.
- Expand outreach to private and institutional sectors, including housing societies, real estate groups, and corporate offices, to create long-term waste collection and material sourcing partnerships.
- Win new commercial contracts, including high-volume collection partnerships and verified material sourcing deals.
- Negotiate strategic agreements with recyclers, aggregators, and commercial suppliers to maximise profitability.
- Represent the company in commercial meetings, government forums, industry events, and stakeholder networks.
- Collaborate with the CEO, product, and operations team to scale a high-margin B2B business line.
- Support team building, recruitment, and onboarding for the B2B sales and supply functions.
- Track KPIs related to sales volume, contract growth, collection economics, and partner retention.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of commercial or B2B sales experience in
waste, recycling, logistics, environmental services
, or related industries. - Proven ability to
win high-value contracts
, manage institutional stakeholders, and build long-term relationships. - Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution drive and a willingness to invest time and capital in exchange for leadership equity.
- Excellent negotiation, proposal writing, and public communication skills.
- Deep understanding of local waste/recycling supply chain in Pakistan preferred.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-moving startup environment.
Compensation Structure
- No fixed salary during initial build period
; performance-driven rewards through: - Commission on sales/contracts closed
- Phantom equity
: up to
10% equity-linked value
based on contribution, investment, and board approval - Option to formally transition into
CCO or COO role
upon achieving defined growth and investment benchmarks - Co-founder-style alignment without dilution of current ownership — ideal for entrepreneurial leaders ready to scale with commitment
