Position Overview
We are seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Fund Management Officer
to join our Pakistan Finance team. This role will be responsible for
fund reconciliation, cash flow management, and accurate reporting
of fund movements and customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in
Accounting, Finance, or Business Studies
, with relevant experience in
banking, fintech, or financial institutions
.

Key Responsibilities
Fund Management & Reconciliation

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly fund reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and internal systems
• Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and maintain accuracy in fund balances
• Monitor collection and disbursement accounts to ensure smooth fund flow operations

Cash Flow & Financial Reporting

• Oversee cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
• Prepare and present regular reports on fund positions, transaction summaries, and cash movement
• Support management in forecasting, financial analysis, and fund utilization reporting

Banking & Payment Operations

• Coordinate with banks and payment partners for transaction validation, settlements, and reconciliation
• Ensure all fund transfers, disbursements, and settlements are processed accurately and on time
• Handle customer and merchant settlements and resolve fund-related discrepancies

Compliance & Internal Control

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit standards, and regulatory frameworks
• Maintain clear documentation for all fund transactions and assist in internal and external audits
• Recommend improvements to strengthen fund control and reporting processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure accurate financial coordination
• Assist management in process optimization and data-driven decision-making

Educational Competence

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Accounting Information Systems, or Business Studies
• Strong academic foundation in financial reporting, cash management, and accounting principles

Professional Competence & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Banking, Fintech, Financial Institutions, or Development Sector organizations

• Previous experience in one or more areas such as:

• Accounting / Finance / Treasury / Fund Management / Cash Management

• Audit / Financial Compliance / Financial Reporting

• Bank Transaction Processing / Loan or Fund Operations

• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, fund flow monitoring, and financial controls

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or financial management systems
• Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and capacity to handle multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in NBFC or fintech fund operations is highly preferred
• Knowledge of financial control frameworks, payment systems, and compliance standards
• Strong coordination skills with banking institutions and internal teams
