Position Overview

SalesTeq is seeking a highly independent Shopify Integration Specialist who can architect, implement, and maintain complex Shopify and Shopify Plus integrations. This role requires someone who can deliver without supervision, work end-to-end across integrations and tracking frameworks, and operate with full autonomy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced Shopify/Shopify Plus integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs, enabling seamless product, order, customer, and inventory synchronization.
  • Configure analytics and tracking infrastructure including GA4, CrUX, event tracking, funnel analytics, and attribution models.
  • Manage marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive) including flows, triggers, and deep data integrations.
  • Implement and optimize advertising pixels and Conversion APIs across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Deploy UX and conversion tools such as heatmaps, session replay technologies, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Integrate and optimize major payment gateways including Adyen, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Afterpay, and Clearpay.
  • Manage social commerce integrations and customer experience tools, including 3D/AR product viewers and notification platforms.
  • Deploy PR and influencer analytics tools (LaunchMetrics, Mention, Meltwater, Awario) with full UTM and performance tracking.
  • Oversee cookie consent frameworks, CMP tools, and ensure GDPR and privacy compliance across all tracking systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex Shopify or Shopify Plus ecosystems.
  • Deep expertise in analytics, pixels, e-commerce tracking, and marketing automation.
  • Strong understanding of checkout logic, payment gateways, and transactional workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with heatmaps, session replay, and experimentation tools.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, GraphQL, Liquid, JSON, and event tracking frameworks.
  • Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for integration, sync, and data issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in DTC, fashion, luxury, or omnichannel e-commerce.
  • Advanced Shopify Plus automation experience.
  • Familiarity with PR analytics, influencer measurement, and social listening platforms.
  • Experience with BigQuery, server-side tagging, or CDP integrations.
