Position: Assistant Manager – Accounts

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Assistant Manager - Accounts with a proven track record of 10+ years of leading and managing accounts departments. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in financial management, taxation, and team supervision, with solid hands-on experience in QuickBooks and Odoo ERP.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements, manage client portfolios, and guide junior team members toward achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial processes.
  • Supervise and review General Ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare, analyze, and finalize monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Perform and oversee accounting, taxation, and ERP-related tasks using QuickBooks and Odoo.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial data, resolving mapping, transaction, and ledger discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable tax laws, audit regulations, and internal control systems.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate the accounting team to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients via calls, messages, and email while delivering high service standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and senior management on financial reporting and planning.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: ACCA or CA Inter
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and finance, with proven leadership in managing an accounts department
  • Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks and Odoo ERP
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Excellent client-handling and financial reporting capabilities
