About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager Accounts
to join our Finance & Accounting Services (FAS) team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will support the Finance Manager in ensuring smooth
month-end financial close, general ledger maintenance, and management accounts preparation
. This role focuses on
financial reporting, treasury management, process improvements, and timely service delivery
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage
    end-to-end accounting processes
    , including General Ledger, AP/AR, cash flow, and reconciliation functions.
  • Prepare
    management accounts and periodic financial reports
    , ensuring accuracy and compliance with
    US GAAP
    .
  • Coordinate with client and internal teams to resolve accounting queries proactively.
  • Supervise accounting team activities and provide guidance during
    month-end and year-end close processes
    .
  • Monitor vendor/outsourcing performance against
    SLA metrics
    .
  • Implement
    process improvements
    and maintain control instruments, log sheets, and reporting tools.
  • Draft business communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA Finalist, ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/CIA/CMA Member/Affiliate
    OR Master's degree in Finance from a top-tier university.
  • 3+ years
    experience in a Big 4 accounting firm (Assurance/Advisory) OR
  • 2+ years
    in a top-tier corporate finance role OR
  • 4+ years
    in a mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Fluent in English with strong
    business writing skills
    .

Technical Skills:

  • General Ledger Accounting, Financial & Management Reporting
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Flow Management, Reconciliation
  • Budgeting & Forecasting; experience with analytical tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with
    US GAAP, GAAS, FASB standards
    preferred
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office
    and accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent)
