Lahore,Job Summary:The Art Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation of Print and Pattern for various apparel and accessories for multiple channels. This position will collaborate cross-functionally in order to stay in-line with business needs and current retail market trends.
Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the creation of print and pattern for apparel and accessories in various mediums within specific timelines for the preparation and release into the market
  • Implement textile design concepts consistent within the brand strategies
  • Facilitate retail market trends research and translate into graphics
  • Facilitate research and development of new graphics techniques
  • Review work of Artists, taking into account the quality and adherence to market trends and business strategies 
  • Ensure that the product is consistent with market trends while maintaining the brand identity
  • Provide product design and aesthetic expertise to support Merchandising and Production in costing decisions
  • Manage workload to meet all deadlines
  • Brainstorm new concepts for upcoming season's graphics
  • Ensure all pitch sheets are executed in a timely and accurate manner, including sizing for sampling and final production
  • Develop trend boards and design direction; translate concepts and boards into key items, styles, and outfits
  • Partner with Design in order to complete concepts and pitch sheets

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in art, textile design, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in design

Skills and Behaviors:

  • Advanced proficiency in Kaleido, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. 
  • Ability to design around concepts
  • Must be able to work within specific timelines and towards multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing, training, and mentoring junior staff
