About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Developer with deep expertise in Unity or Unreal Engine to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building character-driven games, optimizing gameplay performance, and successfully porting titles to PlayStation consoles. You will collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to bring immersive experiences to life across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of gameplay systems, mechanics, and features in Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Design and implement character-driven interactions, combat systems, animations, and narrative mechanics.
  • Optimize performance for console, PC, and PlayStation platforms.
  • Manage porting and certification processes for PlayStation and other consoles.
  • Work closely with art and design teams to translate creative concepts into polished gameplay.
  • Debug, profile, and optimize code to ensure stability and high performance.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional game development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints).
  • Proven experience porting games to PlayStation (PS4/PS5), including knowledge of SDKs and certification requirements.
  • Strong background in character gameplay systems (movement, AI, combat, interaction).
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and cross-platform development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio or shipped titles that demonstrate relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with networked multiplayer systems.
  • Knowledge of animation pipelines, rigging, and motion capture integration.
  • Familiarity with Nintendo Switch and Xbox porting.
  • Passion for storytelling and character-driven gameplay.
