Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Officer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards, promote a safe work culture, and implement effective HSE policies across our
construction sites
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits on construction sites.
  • Ensure workers are provided with proper PPE and follow safe working practices.
  • Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff and labor.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE compliance, training, and inspections.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on site.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a relevant field.
  • HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • 2–5 years of proven HSE experience in the construction industry (must-have requirement).
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle site-level HSE responsibilities.
