Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complete production operations including stitching, cutting, finishing, and packing.
  • Develop and implement production plans to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Monitor workforce efficiency and optimize line balancing for productivity improvement.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality standards ( buyer requirements, audits, etc.).
  • Coordinate with IE, QA, Planning, and Merchandising teams for smooth workflow.
  • Monitor resource utilization (man, machine, and material) to control production costs.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and social standards in the factory.
  • Train, guide, and mentor supervisors and line staff for performance improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Textile Engineering / Apparel Management (preferred).
  • 8–12 years of production management experience in textile/apparel manufacturing, with strong exposure to workwear/industrial garments.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning, garment manufacturing processes, and IE techniques.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with buyer compliance protocols, audits, and lean manufacturing.
