Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and maintain
    Microsoft Sentinel
    for real-time threat monitoring and incident correlation.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain
    KQL-based analytics rules
    to detect potential security threats.
  • Integrate
    Microsoft 365 Defender
    with Sentinel for enhanced visibility and protection.
  • Design and deploy
    Azure Logic Apps
    and automation playbooks to improve SOC efficiency.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with SOC, security, and IT teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
  • Document configurations, incident playbooks, and best practices for SIEM operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in
    SIEM engineering, SOC operations, or threat detection
    .
  • Proven hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Sentinel
    and
    Microsoft 365 Defender stack
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    KQL (Kusto Query Language)
    and analytics rule creation.
  • Experience in automation workflows using
    Azure Logic Apps
    and playbook development.
  • In-depth understanding of
    security operations, incident response, and threat detection methodologies
    .
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Azure Security Engineer, or SIEM-specific certifications) are a plus.
